On 4 February 2025, the ENDURANCE and SUNRISE Projects co-hosted a joint workshop in Dublin, Ireland. This event brought together two Horizon Europe initiatives with a common goal: strengthening the resilience of Europe’s Critical Infrastructures.
The workshop focused on building strategic communication channels, identifying synergies between the two projects, and exploring opportunities for collaborative research and implementation.
Participants shared valuable experiences from both projects and discussed how lessons learned could inform broader EU-level initiatives. Key themes included:
- Enhancing project impact through joint communication strategies;
- Using innovation and digital tools to future-proof CI systems;
- Strengthening inter-project collaboration to inform policy;
- Leveraging stakeholder networks for greater resilience.
The workshop demonstrated that coordination between similar initiatives is not only possible but essential in addressing today’s complex threat environment. Insights gathered during the event will guide future collaboration between ENDURANCE and SUNRISE, especially in the context of EU resilience policies.
