Policy event

On June 4–5, the ENDURANCE Project took part in the 6th Projects to Policy Seminar in Brussels, hosted by the Research Executive Agency (REA) and the Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs (DG HOME).

Representing ENDURANCE were Liana Predut (Eviden RO) and Stella Theologidou (BRIGHT | diadikasia). Alongside representatives from other Horizon Europe Cluster 3 projects, they explored how research outcomes can better inform EU policymaking and strengthen cooperation across projects working on security, resilience, and societal challenges.

Connecting Research with Policy

The seminar served as a key platform for dialogue between researchers, project coordinators, and EU institutions. Participants discussed how research findings can contribute to evidence-based policies, ensuring that scientific advances directly support European priorities in security and resilience.

Building Collaboration and Synergies

For ENDURANCE, the event was also an opportunity to connect with related initiatives, exchange experiences, and identify areas of common interest. Sessions focused on tackling shared challenges, from fostering cross-project collaboration to making the best use of EU innovation tools and support mechanisms.

By engaging in these discussions, ENDURANCE reinforced its role as an active contributor to the Horizon Europe community, committed to bridging the gap between research and policy while supporting the EU’s long-term goals of safety, security, and resilience.
